The Fond du Lac 8 Cinema has a new general manager and is reopening from it’s COVID-19 shutdown in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Odyssey Theatres has announced that Paul Fieber has been appointed General Manager of their Fond du Lac 8 Cinema. Fieber says the Fond du Lac 8 Cinema will re-open to the public Wednesday following “cinema safe” protocols as established by the National Association of Theatre Owners. Odyssey also says plans are still in place to remodel the Fond du Lac 8 but has had to pause those plans due to the pandemic. According to a press release the effects of closures and mandated restrictions along with the major studios shifting their film slate to 2021, have been devastating to every theatre in the country. “Most if not all theatre operators have had to stop or delay expansion and remodeling plans until the pandemic is behind us,” according to the release.
