2-12-20 coronavirus-the latest

The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she anticipates there will be more confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Wisconsin.   Health officials announced last week the first confirmed case in Wisconsin and only the 12th case in the U.S.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says seven Wisconsin residents have tested negative for the virus and there are still two pending cases so she wouldn’t be surprised to see more confirmed cases.   It really wouldn’t be a huge shock,”  Mueller told WFDL news.  “We have two right now that are pending.  So that means if they got a test done they were very high risk and very likely they were exposed.”   Health officials say the risk of contracting the virus in Wisconsin is still very low if you have not traveled to China.
