2-10-20 area residents digging out after biggest snowstorm of the season

A  major winter snowstorm dumped several inches of snow throughout Wisconsin Sunday resulting in slippery roads.  National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Collar says seven to ten inches of snow and even more than that were reported in some areas.  “We’re looking at some areas seeing up toward ten inches of snow, especially the northern reaches of our forecast area, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan,”  Collar told WFDL news.   Collar says this was the biggest snowstorm of the season so far.   Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says deputies were busy responding to several mostly minor vehicle run-offs and traffic crashes.  Waldschmidt says fortunately there was less traffic on area roads because it was the weekend.
