A Waupun man has been charged in connection with a domestic incident and high speed chase. Anthony Ashford made his initial Dodge County Circuit Court appearance this week on multiple charges including strangulation/suffocation. Bail was set at $7500 cash. Police were called Tuesday to a Beverly Court residence for a report of a physical domestic incident. Ashford left the scene before police arrived, but was located a short distance away and a mile long high speed chase ensued with speeds up to 100 miles an hour. The chase ended when Ashford pulled over on Highway M south of Waupun. He was arrested at gunpoint.
