A Fond du Lac woman will be competing this weekend in the Mrs. Wisconsin pageant. Kim Galske will be competing March 23 at the Northwoods Center in Eagle River. “Its not a body beautiful program, I want to make that clear,” Glaske told WFDL news. “Its not about being perfect, its about being somebody in their community that is impactful, that is kind, courageous, empowering, that’s doing things they want other people to be a part of.” This is Galske’s second competition. She finished second runner-up last year. Her platform is Salute the Troops and veterans. “I’ve been the director (Salute the Troops) for two years and I thought I just need to be able to talk to more people. We’re here to help, to help people that need a hand up. ” The winner will compete for the national title of Mrs. United States hosted in Las Vegas this summer.
