The Fond du Lac County District Attorney says the arrest and conviction of a Fond du Lac drug dealer has had a significant impact. DA Eric Toney says Allen Ferguson was the ringleader of a heroin conspiracy in Fond du Lac. “His son was actually the one who started the operation up here and then when Allen Ferguson came up and saw what his son was doing he ended up taking over and expanded the operation moving more heroin into our community,” Toney told WFDL news. Toney says Ferguson would drive to Chicago two to three times a month, picking up about 100 grams of heroin at a time for sale in Fond du Lac. Toney says the 30 year prison sentence handed out last week for the 49 year old Ferguson was appropriate.
