2-19-18 ice storm warning down graded to winter weather advisory

Snow, sleet and freezing rain are making travel challenging on this Presidents Day.  An ice storm warning has been downgraded to a winter weather advisory for several central Wisconsin counties including Fond du Lac, Dodge and Sheboygan counties this evening through tomorrow afternoon. National Weather Service meteorologist Ben Herzog says the ice accumulation is now less than originally anticipated.  Lori Getter with Wisconsin Emergency Management says far southeastern Wisconsin could see flooding rainfall.  Dozens of school districts are taking the day off Monday, including Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Neillsville and Waupaca.
