12-13-17 snowstom-driving carefully

Get your snow shovels ready…the biggest snowstorm of the season is in the forecast for much of our listening area Wednesday.  National Weather Service meteorologist Tim Halbach says several a winter weather advisory is in effect for northeast Wisconsin including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties.  “The potential is there for pretty good snowfall amounts.  Right now we’re forecasting between 3-6 inches,”  Halbach told WFDL news.  Meanwhile, state  AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says motorists need to drive carefully.  “The number one thing is to take it a little slower,”  Jarmuscz told WFDL news.  Jarmuscz says four wheel drive isn’t going to help you stop if you start to lose control of your vehicle on  the highway.  Jarmusz says before you drive, make sure to clear all of the snow off your car.
