7-27-17 Full Scale Exercise Planned for Tonight in Lomira

A full-scale exercise is planned for the Grande Cheese Distribution Center in Lomira tonight.
The exercise will be held Tonight, July 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Grande Cheese Distribution Center – Lomira, 1400 Industrial Drive, Lomira, WI, 53048.
The exercise will test communications, coordination, emergency public information and warning, responder safety and health, hazardous materials response, onsite management (Incident Command System/ICS) and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) management abilities, using current plans.

Private Contractors
Wisconsin Emergency Management
This full-scale exercise activity is the culmination of an exercise series planned and hosted jointly by the Dodge County Emergency Management Department and Grande Cheese.
This exercise provides the opportunity for first response agencies and stakeholder agencies to test their plans in a real-time simulation and to train and practice together to ensure that incident communications, management and tactical skills are ready should a real emergency situation occur.
