7-27-17 Beaver Dam Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Trafficking Charges

The owner of a Beaver Dam trucking company is pleading guilty in federal court to selling methamphetamine.
According to the criminal complaint, 47-year-old Michael Marks, owner of Marks Family Trucking, was stopped in November on his way to Eau Claire with three ounces of meth that he intended to sell.
The prosecuting US Attorney says a woman arrested days earlier named Marks as her supplier, setting up a sting operation.
Marks admitted to getting 12 ounces of meth from his cousin in California and selling it to different people back in Wisconsin.
He faces a minimum of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 40, a $5 million fine and lifetime supervision once he is released.
