A fatal industrial accident this afternoon at Michels Corporation in Brownsville is under investigation. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt said the accident happened when when an employee of a sub-contractor of Michels Corporation (All Tools, LLC of Fond du Lac) was cleaning pipes. One of the pipes fell off a jack and slid into the victim causing fatal injuries. Schmidt says the 20 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriff’s Office deputies along with the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted the investigation into the incident. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members. The Sheriff’s Office says Michels Corporation and All Tools, LLC will be working closely to cooperate with OSHA officials in further investigation of the incident.
