The Fond du Lac County executive says he is confident a Fox Valley jobs agency has its act together following a scathing audit found mismanagement and reckless spending. County executive Al Buechel sits on the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board. “Keep in mind none of this was embezzlement, it was the way they were charging and most of it was less than competent book keeping,” Buechel said. Buechel says it was a case of the director of the agency not knowing what she was doing. “That would be my belief, yeah.” Buechel says today the problems outlined in the audit have been fixed.
