The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the 3rd annual Sheriff’s Citizen Academy. This is an opportunity for Dodge County residents to receive hands on insight into the daily operations of the sheriff’s office. Some of the course topics covered include owi and crash investigations, firearms and active shooter response and criminal investigation and evidence handling. The academy begins in September and lasts until December. The application deadline is July 12th.
