A man has been arrested in Fond du Lac County for his 10th OWI offense. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Ryan Waldschmidt says the 62 year old man was pulled over on southbound Highway 26 in the village of Rosendale Tuesday night. Waldschmidt says a female passenger in the vehicle dialed 911 to alert authorities. “Its concerning that she chose to get into the vehicle knowing the condition he (driver) was in, but once he was driving it concerned her enough to call 911,” Waldschmidt told WFDL news. Waldschmidt says a number of people apparently tried unsuccessfully to convince the man not to drive. “It does sound like there was some discussion about whether he was okay to drive before they all got in the car, there were other passengers in the car as well.”
