The 2017 Rosendale Memorial Day commemoration will begin at 10 a.m. Monday in the Rosendale Intermediate School south gymnasium. This year marks the 151st anniversary of the annual event which is a national holiday to honor veterans and those who have served our country. One of the highlights of the event is a slide show of area veterans and the branch of service where they served. The Rosendale High School Band the school chorus will perform patriotic songs at the ceremony in the gym. Closing ceremonies will be held at the Veterans Memorial.
