Marian University will hold its annual Celebrate Marian weekend on April 27-30.
Thursday, April 27
- Day of Giving: Marian’s 24-hour day of giving will support the annual scholarship fund. Individuals can give to the annual fund at marianuniversity.edu/donate or in-person during the hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the administration building lobby.
- Veterans Appreciation Night at men’s baseball: Local veterans will be honored during the men’s baseball game vs. Ripon Redhawks. The game will begin at 7 p.m. at Herr-Baker Field. Admission is $5 per person or donations of paper products will be collected to benefit local veterans.
Friday, April 28
- Choir Concert: Marian’s Chamber Singers will present their spring concert in Dorcas Chapel beginning at Noon.
- Marian’s Got Talent: Current students at Marian will compete in their annual talent show, beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the Hornung Student Center. Doors open at 8pm.
Saturday, April 29
- Splatter Run: Marian’s annual Splatter Run will begin at the Regina Parking Lot. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m., and the race will begin at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $10.
- Marian will have a food truck available serving tacos beginning at 11 a.m.
- 3 on 3 Basketball: Marian will host 3 on 3 basketball games in the Sadoff Gymnasium from 1:30 – 6 p.m. Cost is $60 per team. 3 or 4 members allowed per team.
- Alumni Soccer Games: Marian’s alumni men’s and women’s soccer players will play at Noon and 2 p.m.
- Big Band: Marian’s big band concert, featuring Driftwood at 4 p.m., with the main act Thompson Square beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- Jazz Concert: Marian’s Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Little Big Band will perform at the Hornung Student Center at 8 p.m.
