The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation honored central Wisconsin students, teachers and principals at a luncheon and awards program Sunday in Waupun. The luncheon recognized 18 teacher Fellowship recipients, 21 Excellence Scholarship recipients and 15 Initiative Scholarship recipients. Area Excellence Scholars include Mackenzie Mas from St. Mary’s Springs Academy, Rebecca Schmitz of Fond du Lac Christian School, Katie Pribnow from Beaver Dam High School and Megan Roehl of Campbellsport High School. Teacher Fellows include Michael Fedysyzyn at Sabish Middle School, Nicole Mashock at the Fond du lac STEM Institute and Anna Stern from Beaver Dam Wayland Academy. Tierra Baum from Beaver Dam, Oakfield High School’s Cody Floyd, Alexis Rigg from Green Lake High School and Katherine Teske from Winnebago Lutheran Academy are Initiative Scholars.
