The president of Fond du Lac’s Marian University says he’s confident a major fundraising goal will be met. Marian announced the $13 million campaign last week to renovate and expand the university’s science center. President Dr. Andrew Manion says the renovated science center will greatly expand teaching and research capabilities to better prepare students. Manion says the science center will feature state-of-the-art laboratory and classroom space, as well as ample student study spaces. So far, the Marian Campaign has raised more than $10 million since the silent phase began in September 2015. The Marian Campaign aims to raise the total $13 million goal by the end of June 2018.
