4-21-17 dodge county boat safety class

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Recreation Patrol will be hosting a Boat Safety Certification Class May 22-23, 2017. Individuals who were born January 1, 1989 or later need the safety certificate in order to legally operate a motorized boat or personal watercraft on Wisconsin waterways.   Recreation Deputy Scott Petrack says “topics will include navigational rules when traveling on Wisconsin waterways as well as conducting proper boat safety checks prior to hitting the waterways.”  The class will be held each evening on those days from 4:30 PM-8:30PM at the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Training Room, located at 124 West Street, Juneau, WI.   Questions and those wishing to sign up should contact Deputy Scott Petrack at 920-386-4121 or by email at spetrack@co.dodge.wi.us .  You can also sign up online at https://gowild.wi.gov  and search boating in Dodge County.  The cost of the class is $10.00.
