The City of Fond du Lac would like to encourage its residents to get involved with spring clean-up. April is “Keep America Beautiful” month and this week is also Earth Week. There are many events happening this week and to follow in those footsteps we wish to offer, for city residents, half price bulky waste drop day at the Municipal Service Center, 530 N Doty Street, and Saturday, April 22nd from 8 to noon.
Christmas trees, leaves, grass clippings, and other yard waste or garden material may be brought to the City Municipal Service Center located at 530 Doty St and placed in the mulch bin for free. There are signs on Doty Street directing residents to this drop off area. The mulch bin is always open and is located north of the Municipal Service Center. The waste should be dropped on the north end of the gated area. All debris should be removed from bagged form and the bags can be disposed of in the refuse carts available in the mulch bin area.
