The Fond du Lac School District superintendent plans to testify next week at a legislative hearing on the proposed budget. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the hearing is scheduled for next Friday in Berlin. Sebert says he is concerned that an increase in voucher payments may impact the amount of money that goes to public education. “I certainly think that is a concern. Public education is first and foremost the state’s responsibility and when you start to fund two systems of education within the state, something’s got to give,” Sebert told WFDL news.
