The Fond du Lac County Emergency Management director is encouraging citizens to attend a severe weather spotting training class this month. With severe weather season right around the corner, Emergency management director Bobbie Hicken says learning about severe weather safety and storm spotter training is beneficial regardless of whether you are a storm spotter or not. Hicken says the training is highly recommended for first responders and amateur radio operators. The class examines how and when to report and storm spotting safety. The class will be held on Thursday March 23rd at 6:30pm at the city county government center. Its free and open to the public.
