MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says he’s not ruling out joining President Donald Trump’s administration, but he’s inclined to stay in Wisconsin.  But Fitzgerald said Monday he’s still considering a run for U.S. Senate in 2018.  Fitzgerald was an early and vocal supporter of Trump’s in Wisconsin, leading to speculation that he may be headed for a job in Washington. Fitzgerald had said he talked with Trump’s chief of staff Reince Priebus in December about possibly working for the administration.  But Fitzgerald says he hasn’t had any serious talks about doing that and the further along the state legislative session gets, the more likely it is he will remain in the state.  Fitzgerald says he’s waiting to see whether U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy runs for Senate next year before he decides.
