3-1-16 campaign 2016-wisconsin joke

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Move over, Donald Trump.  There’s a new candidate for president making provocative statements about border security, national defense and air quality, and he’s in Madison, Wisconsin.  Todd McWilliams started popping up on billboards around town a week ago. He’s promising to erect a wall to keep out people from neighboring Illinois and hiring professional wrestler John Cena to defend threats from abroad.  McWilliams looks earnest in his ads, but he told The Associated Press on Monday that his campaign is a joke that fits perfectly with what he calls a crazy real campaign.  McWilliams says more than 200 people have committed on his website to write in his name in Wisconsin’s April 5 primary.
